Endotoxin-free magnesium buffer for overcoming the interference by chelation effect
1. Product information
Limulus amoebocyte lysate endotoxin assay for detection of bacterial endotoxins LAL lysate and endotoxin reaction require magnesium and calcium ions. Test samples that have a high affinity for divalent cations will chelate or sequester them from the LAL lysate formulation. Without the proper concentration of divalent cations, the enzymes in the lysate cannot function properly. The LAL lysate and endotoxin reaction was inhibited. In order to overcome the chelation effect cause LAL interference, a buffer contains calcium and magnesium could be used to dilute the test sample.
2. Product parameter
Endotoxin level < 0.005EU/ml
3. Product features and application
Supply additional magnesium to overcome the LAL and endotoxin reaction inhibition caused by the chelation effect.
